New Year New Look

Ok I know I have talked about it and showed several samples of my new name and new look but I am finalizing it now and my goal is to have the name change and look by the first of the year!! I am SUPER excited about it and to go along with the whole new look I will be totally redueing the website, I have not updated my galleries all year so please check back in January to see what I have been up to in 2008!! I also still want to share some exciting news but it is still not finalized so you have to wait just a couple more weeks.....sorry! I will post pictures to go along with the news :> there is so much that me and John want to accomplish in 2009 and I am very excited to where our business is heading!!! I just wanted to really thank every single one of my customers we have met SO many wonderful people this year from precious babies awesome families and some awesome seniors!!!! Can't wait to get started in 2009!! We wish EVERYONE a very Merry Christmas and a AWESOME new year!!! Stayed tuned for the winner of the give away!! Recent Family Session

This family recently came in to do their family portrait and order some custom designed Christmas cards,they had came last year and had done the same thing, it is always nice to see families around the holidays and see how much their kids have changed! These 2 have gotten alot taller in the last year! Very nice family!!! Their Christmas cards turned out super cute, I may post them after Christmas so their family doesn't see it on here before they get their card in the mail:>

Mom wanted some pictures taken together while Denisha was in for her pictures, I think they turned out super cute, I wish I had more pictures of me and my sisters growing up.

Mom brought baby nolan back in to see me for some more shots of just him and I just love how this one turned out, so sweet!!!

Offering New Frames!!

I came across this AWESOME framing company several weeks ago and just fell in love with them, I think they totally go with my style of photography... they are very unique and chic! What is totally awesome is we have reserved our spot to be the ONLY photographer in a 50 mile radius to be able to sell them, which makes me happy! I shared this information with my best friend who is also a photographer in North Carolina and we both entered a photo competition they had going on and we both won!! She won 1st and I won 2nd how cool is that! Congrats goes out to Lisa!! A New Arrival

Isn't he BEAUTIFUL!! He was such a good baby and his big brother and sister were just as good, can u tell they love their new baby brother? To sweet!!

Drove an hour and half to come see me!

I was very honored to know that this couple drove over an hour to come see me for pictures! Very sweet couple, I took Nick's pictures last Christmas with his little brother and sister, Dad surprised mom with a wall portrait, very nice family! I just love how these turned out!

In The Meadow We Can Build A Snowman!

Christmas Special!! This Saturday from 10 to 5 we will be taking appointments to have pictures taken with our new ADORABLE snowman!! Dress the kids in warm sweaters,scarfs, and mittens and let them have fun "building the snowman"! Our special is $20 session fee and package is ONLY $45 which includes 1 8x10, 1 5x7, 8 wallets! Sessions are scheduled every 30 minutes and your $20 session fee is due at the time of booking your appointment. Favor from the Lord!

A couple of weeks ago I had 2 sessions booked on the same day 1 senior and this family later towards evening. We got done with the senior session and headed to Spiceland for this family picture. It started cloudy up and it started to look like it was getting dark, I could see the sun was behind all of these looked like storm clouds and I just said a simple prayer "please Lord could u please part those clouds and bring the sun so I can have beautiful light for this family" I watched with my very own eyes within seconds the clouds part and the sun shine and we got images like this one above..... beautiful!!! It is amazing to me that the Lord loves me so much that he would part those clouds that day something so big for me and so little for him!! Once we got their this family was one of the nicest families we have worked with! Many blessings that day!!

Recently took this portrait of a family from Richmond, mom is ordering Christmas cards with several of these images in the alley, everyone is loving the urban shots and I love taking them! After loading these I was like oh my gosh this looks like it could be an ad for Abercrombie! So cute!!

Will be out of town

We got some pictures of him on the court as well and he looks to be VERY Good!! We have taken several basketball players this year and me and John are going to go to some games this year now that we know some of the players and cheerleaders!!

Upcoming Events

Just wanted to let everyone know we have been crazy busy here at the studio and want to apologize to anyone if they are trying to get in contact with me... I think I have called everyone back that I was suppose to if not please call me or email me, John will tell you that I am forgetful at times, especially when we have been as busy as we are now..... which I think is a HUGE blessing from above, with how the economy is we sure are not seeing it, so thank you to all my loyal AWESOME clients that we have had so far this year!!! Without you I would not be in business! We have met some pretty awesome people which includes seniors, families, children and those precious babies!!! After talking to several of my clients they informed me that they often check out my blog while they are work, which made me very happy!!! To all my faithful blog followers I just wanted to let you know we are going to be taking pictures on Halloween... I know their are alot of wonderful mothers out there who find the cutest costumes for their kids and I know they are not cheap either! So we will be taking pictures from 2:30 - 4:30 all you have to do is bring in 2 can food items per child and you will receive the following week a FREE 4X6 of you child in their costumes! We will be putting the food items into food baskets and giving those away at Christmas to those less fortunate than us. You also will be able to purchase more of the pictures at a discount. Also while I am talking about pictures we will be set up where kicks 96 was which is next to me during Winterfest which is the Saturday before Thanksgiving. We will be taking pictures with Santa... same thing bring in can food items and receive a FREE 4x6 picture with Santa, I am already anxious for Christmas partially because I want to enjoy it this year and not run myself to death like I did last year. We will have a deadline this year to order and come in for portraits so I can spend time with my own family, I am sure everyone understands that. Anyways I am already buying decorations for winterfest so I hope that when you and your kids come in for pictures that everyone will feel the spirit of Christmas when they walk in the door! Ok so what do u think.....

Ok some of you I have talked to about this, others have no idea that I have been thinking about this.... but I have been going back and forth for quite sometime... I have been wanting to change the name of my business to my name so people will know the person behind the camera, kind of like when an artist signs his or her name to their piece of art. I have wanting to go with these colors and it was like I sat down tonight and the Lord was like here you go Deanna this is what you have been wanting, just like that.... The Lord has been soooooo good to me, he is continually blessing me with even the littlest things. Also something has been offered to me that is really big and would be a very BIG plus for our studio, I don't want to say just yet... still praying about it I want to really know that it is the Lord's will and it has to be the perfect timing to but if and when it is I will for sure post when it happens, until then let me know what u think of the name change and my design.

I have been soooo busy!

We have been very busy here at the studio... sorry to all my faithful blog followers! Here is a peek at a recent session, they both were so sweet!! She will be in my bebe collection so I am excited to watch her grow.

Can we say ADORABLE!!

I found this old wooden chair at the sale barn in Brookville and have been wanting to use it for pictures so when I got the phone call to book for this session and knew it was going to be out in the country I just popped this chair in the back thinking maybe I could use it, and when I saw their adorable sun dresses I knew the chair would be perfect, the girls were so sweet!! The family was very nice to work with as well!!

I have been itching to do a family"urban style" and this family had called me wanting just that so I was tickled pink when they came, I just love how u can see the bond this family has! It was so great to meet you!

Miss Mary came in for her 6 month session.... hard to believe she is that old already! It is so neat to have babies in our bebe collection and just watch them grow up. She is such a sweetie!!! Don't you just want to just pinch those cheeks? You can tell her parents love her very much..... I can't wait till one day I can be a mom.... it is in the Lord's timing and his timing is always perfect.

Sweet Cars!!

I am so glad we did the "urban look" with these cars... I think the locations could not be more perfect, on the first image the light was just hitting the cars perfect!! You can tell that these two take really good care of their cars, makes me and John wish we still had his when we were dating. Hope u enjoy the sneek peak Jordan more to come!! And it was nice to meet you Blake!

Busy...Busy....Busy with Seniors!

I promised Marci I would post a sneak peak for her so here they are Marci! I love how they turned out and can't wait to finish the outdoor session with you. It was way to hot this evening to do the whole outside session. I know alot of other photographers would not care and just go out anyway but I do care and I am all about quality!
